Ben Warner is the chief nursing officer at HCA Florida Mercy Hospital. Since joining HCA Healthcare 31 years ago, he has worked at several HCA Healthcare affiliated hospitals in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida in a variety of nursing leadership roles including the ER and hospital administration.

Before joining HCA Florida Mercy Hospital three years ago, he was with HealthTrust Workforce Solutions serving in interim CNO roles. Additionally, he served for 14 years at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital in Richmond, VA as the chief nursing officer.

Warner received his associate’s degree in nursing from Shenandoah University, bachelor’s degree in business management from Virginia Tech, bachelor’s degree in nursing from Western Governors’ University and master’s in business administration from Pfeiffer University. He is also certified in executive nursing practice by the American Organization of Nurse Leaders.
