Tracee Hendershott is chief nursing officer at HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital, a 282-bed acute care facility in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The hospital offers services including a NICU, birthing center, cardiac catheterization lab, minimally invasive robotic surgery, gynecologic, general and vascular surgery, orthopedic and spine care, wound care, and freestanding ERs in Darwin Square and Stuart.

Hendershott has 30 years of nursing and leadership experience. Most recently, she served as chief nursing officer at HCA West Valley Medical Center. She began her career as a staff nurse on the medical-surgical unit at HCA Rose Medical Center in Denver and later held several leadership roles there before becoming associate chief nursing officer and then chief nursing officer at HCA West Valley Medical Center in 2017.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Northern Colorado and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Webster University.
