Michael Goldman

Michael Goldman has been volunteering for more than three years at Delray Medical Center. Michael handles the visitor check-in at the main tower entrance of the hospital. Michael is no stranger to volunteering. He spent 19 years as a big brother on the Jewish Big Brother & Big Sister of Greater Boston Board of Directors. When Michael moved down to Delray Beach fulltime, he looked for a new opportunity and Delray Medical Center was the perfect fit. Michael loves the compassionate, friendly staff at the hospital and says they’re a delight to work with. Michael may volunteer, but he’s far from retired. He owns a chemical sales company in Medfield, Massachusetts, which requires his daily attention and still requires him to travel. If you’re interested in volunteering, Michael would encourage you not to hesitate and says the experience is fulfilling and fun. When Michael isn’t volunteering or working, he enjoys swimming, playing duplicate bridge, gardening and fishing.

Linda Bouvier

Linda Bouvier started volunteering at Delray Medical Center in 2015. She has accumulated over 800 hours of service. Linda volunteers at the information desk at the visitor check-in point in the tower lobby. She gives directions to the visitors as needed and coordinates with department heads when their appointments arrive. Linda became a volunteer because she wanted to give back to the community and she always enjoyed the medical field. Linda enjoys helping people when they come to visit their family or friends at the hospital and tries to put a smile on their face while they’re visiting. What makes Delray Medical Center unique in her eyes is the hospital’s great reputation as a leader in medical advancements. Linda stated that she gets to work with world-class professionals and dedicated volunteers. The friends she has made at the hospital has been the biggest reward, especially working with 106-year-old volunteer, Charles Carroll. Prior to volunteering, Linda owned and operated a large insurance agency. This gave her experience interfacing with all kinds of people and personalities. When Linda isn’t volunteering she is an active member of the Quilt Guild by the Sea. Through her efforts, Delray Medical Center was able to provide over 30 Quilts of Valor to veteran volunteers and employees at the hospital who served in our armed forces.
