DECEMBER 14, 2023 – The Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale brightened up the smiles of pediatric patients today at Broward Health Medical Center. They surprised the children by bringing Santa Claus himself, along with Christmas carols and toys.

This heartwarming tradition has been going on for 20 years, with the group singing throughout the hospital’s pediatric intensive care unit, surgical floor, and cancer clinic. Their positivity extends even to patients in isolation, as they sing outside their doors.

The children and their families enjoyed the carols and even joined in on the singing. Our hardworking staff of nurses, caregivers, and physicians also stopped by to enjoy the festive tunes. The Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale filled the halls with the holiday spirit, bringing the kids hope, joy and laughter.
