Officials at Catholic Health Services announced the promotion of Sherry Thomas to Director of Risk Management for the non-profit healthcare and social services organization. Thomas was originally hired in September 2006 as Risk Manager for the CHS North Campus. She replaces Rochelle Ingram who retired in the beginning of the year. Thomas is a State of Florida Registered Nurse and Licensed Health Care Risk Manager. Additionally, she is a Legal Nurse Consultant certified by the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants. Sherry has many years experience in health care as a Staff Nurse, ADON, DON, Utilization Review Nurse, Legal Nurse Consultant, Risk Manager and Regional Nurse Educator.
