Six Physicians to Join Miami Children’s Physician Committee

Six area physicians have been newly elected to serve on the Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH) Medical Executive Committee.

 

The Medical Executive Committee will continue to be led by the President of the Medical Staff, Dr. Anselmo Cepero-Akselrad, pediatric nephrologist, and Vice President of the Medical Staff, Dr. Marcelo Laufer, pediatric infectious disease specialist, through the 2013 calendar year.

 

The new members, all elected to serve three-year terms, include Dr. Juan Bolivar, pediatric cardiologist; Dr. Moises Simpser, pediatric pulmonologist; Dr. Mayra Capote, general pediatrician; Dr. Mario Martinez, pediatric dentist; Dr. Stephen Swirsky, pediatric orthopaedic surgeon; and Dr. Roberto Tuchman, pediatric neurologist.
