February 3 2021 -St. Mary’s Medical Center and The Palm Beach Children’s Hospital appoints Tarek Naser to the position of Chief Financial Officer.  In his role, Naser will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations for St. Mary’s Medical Center & The Palm Beach Children’s Hospital.  Naser comes from Tenet sister hospital DMC Detroit Receiving, Harper University, and Hutzel Women’s Hospital where served in the same role overseeing the Level I trauma center and academic hospital.

Naser has worked at multiple hospitals in addition to his time in Detroit, including serving as the chief financial officer at DMC Huron Valley-Siani Hospital in Commerce, Michigan where he handled the finances for the 157-bed acute care facility.  He has also worked at hospitals in both California and Texas as an Assistant CFO and controller, respectively.  
 
St. Mary’s is home to a broad array of adult and pediatric services including a Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center and a state-designated Brain and Spinal Cord Acute Injury Center. Additional services include the Neuroscience Center, High-Risk Obstetrical Unit with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), the Institute for Advanced Orthopedics, the Rehabilitation Institute, the Memory Disorder Center, Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Center.  Pediatric services are provided at the Palm Beach Children’s Hospital, which is the only dedicated children’s hospital between Ft. Naser is a graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where he earned his degree in finance and economics.
