The Physicians Imaging Center, located in Hollywood, Florida, is proud to announce the opening of a state of the art imaging/diagnostic Center which is a General Electric National Show Site featuring the newest equipment offered by GE.
Heavier workloads and the requirement for more patient data demand equipment and computers which maximize productivity and quality every step of the way. The G.E. equipment combines excellent quality with exceptionally fast processing speeds patient after patient, image after image. The Center also includes rooms for bone densitometry, ultrasound, radiology reading and physician examinations.
Technical excellence, quality, and patient comfort were key design elements of the 8,000 square foot facility. The design included deep, rich colored woods surrounding the reception and waiting room areas along with an eight foot wall fountain. The attention to detail was critical; all architectural elements were selected to be warm and comforting, not institutional in appearance. Illuminated boxes on the walls and ceilings of treatment rooms display beautiful garden scenes which are soothing and comforting to the patient. Patient privacy and comfort were key considerations in the design of changing rooms adjacent to treatment rooms.
