Broward Health’s director of information technology (IT) revenue cycle, Daisy Senior, leads a team to create specific system build for Epic implementation and works collaboratively with leadership to ensure coordination at the highest level.
Senior, who has always been interested in technology and problem-solving, has worked at Broward Health’s IT department for over 18 years. She enjoys the energetic nature of the IT field and the opportunity to use technology to improve systems and processes in healthcare.
“Working in healthcare allows me to apply my IT skills in a way that directly benefits patient care and operational efficiency, which I find incredibly fulfilling,” said Senior. “Leading initiatives that enhance revenue cycle management and improve our patients’ billing experience is incredibly rewarding.”
Senior has a bachelor’s degree in applied science for supervision/management from Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth.
