Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) introduces Robert Cywes, M.D., to the West Palm Beach area as a pediatric and adult surgeon with a commitment to reducing obesity and the impact of metabolic syndrome on adolescent patients. Dr. Robert Cywes holds the distinction of being the first surgeon in Northeast Florida certified in LAP-BAND® surgery. Prior to joining TFPS, Dr. Cywes was the Director at Jacksonville Weight Loss Center, where he led the adolescent and bariatric surgery departments and developed a nationally recognized Center of Excellence for Obesity Surgery. Preceding his directorship, Dr. Cywes was a pediatric and adult surgeon at Jacksonville Surgical Associates.
