Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) proudly announces Armando Gonzalez, M.D., a general pediatrics physician specializing in newborn to adolescent care, joins the multi-specialty physician group and is now seeing patients at his TFPS office in Palm Springs. Dr. Gonzalez specializes in child development, health and wellness promotion, adolescent health, allergies/asthma management, and pediatric skin disorders. Dr. Gonzalez is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is currently on-staff at St. Mary’s Medical Center and Palm Beach Children’s Hospital in West Palm Beach. He has nearly 25 years of experience.Dr. Gonzalez completed his first residency in the department of Pediatric Education at the Sancti Spiritus Pediatric Hospital in Sancti Spiritus, Cuba. His second residency was completed at the Memorial Health University Medical Center at the Mercer University School of Medicine, in Savannah, Georgia. Dr. Gonzalez received his medical degree from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences in Villa Clara, Cuba. He previously practiced at a primary health care group in Savannah and a medical group practice in West Palm Beach.
