Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital is proud to welcome Luis Marcelo Argote-Greene, M.D., as Regional Director of Thoracic and Esophageal Surgery.

After completing Thoracic Surgery and Thoracic Oncology Clinical Fellowships at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston, Dr. Argote-Greene returned to National Institute of Health Sciences and Nutrition Salvador Zubirán in Mexico City where he previously trained in General Surgery. He earned his medical degree at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Before returning to Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Argote-Greene was the Chief of Thoracic Surgery and Professor of the Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery Program.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital, Dr. Argote-Greene was a thoracic surgeon with University Hospitals in Ohio and Clinical Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University.
