Striving for a LEED Certification is certainly a challenge, but the energy savings and marketing opportunities that will come as a result of this achievement are tremendous. I currently work for ANF Group, Inc. as a project engineer for the Joe DiMaggio Childrens Hospital, Memorial Healthcare Systems first facility seeking a LEED Certification. We have worked diligently with LEED Consultant Charlie Michelson of Saltz Michelson Architects to achieve the best value for our client. We are anxious to be a part of Memorials first big step towards their “Going Green” movement with the opening of the Joe DiMaggio Childrens Hospital in 2011.
