Sheridan Healthcare, Inc. has announced the promotion of Denise Longman to Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer and John D’Arpino to Vice President of Tax.Longman joined Sheridan in 2006 as the Director of Internal Audit. A certified public accountant with more than 18 years of internal and external audit experience serving in supervisory and management positions at Arthur Andersen LLP and Ryder System, Inc., Longman previously worked with Sheridan for 18 months as a Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) consultant. Longman is certified in healthcare compliance and is a member of the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
John D’Arpino CPA MST joined Sheridan in 2005 as Director of Tax to begin the company’s corporate tax department. Prior to joining Sheridan, D’Arpino was a Senior Tax Manager at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and spent his time serving domestic and large multinational SEC registrants in a variety of industries including healthcare, pharmaceutical, automotive, telecom, real estate, retail and distribution.
