February 4, 2021 – Tykes & Teens, a leading provider of the highest quality, evidence-based mental health services and programs for children and adolescents for nearly 25 years, has appointed Dr. Agnieszka Marshall, Psy.D, CAP, as Chief Clinical Officer.  In the newly created position, Dr. Marshall is responsible for the overall direction, leadership and oversight of Tykes & Teens’ clinical, quality and safety programs.  She will oversee the development, accountability and measurement of the agency’s evidenced-based programs and services with a focus on providing quality safe clinical care for the children and communities the agency serves, which is more important than ever during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Marshall has dedicated her 14-year career to the non-profit mental health field – strongly believing in a responsibility to support her community.  She joined Tykes & Teens in 2006 and most recently served as the agency’s Director of Prevention Services where she has implemented numerous evidence-based programs spanning the four-county Treasure Coast region.  She developed and leads a series of programs geared toward mental health issues and the prevention of substance abuse for children, conducts community psycho-educational seminars and workshops for mental health professionals, champions social awareness campaigns, oversees a classroom-based prevention curriculum, and coordinates free and fun activities for tweens and teens in the community.  In addition, she has been a guest lecturer for various psychology-related graduate and undergraduate courses, has consulted on various community task forces, and has maintained a private practice since 2011 with a special focus on women’s issues and wellness.  Dr. Marshall is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Certified Addictions Professional who earned her Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology.
