Lauren A. Huntress, M.D., RPVI, recently joined Prime Vascular Institute in Boca Raton. Dr. Huntress is a vascular surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of carotid disease, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), aortic aneurysm, venous disease, and vascular care for end stage renal disease, dialysis access and wound care. She is on-staff at West Boca Medical Center and Delray Medical Center.
For her education and training, Dr. Huntress completed an integrated vascular surgery residency and graduated from medical school at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, NJ. Dedicated to the advancement of vascular surgery and medicine, Dr. Huntress has authored peer-reviewed articles published in medical journals and book chapters, as well as presented her findings at medical society meetings and symposiums. Dr. Huntress is a member of the Society of Vascular Surgery, International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies (ISSVA) and co-founder of the Association of Women Surgeons at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
