The future of emergency care has arrived in North Broward County with the recent opening of the area’s first Satellite Emergency Center, just south of the Sawgrass Expressway overpass on State Road 7. Residents of Coconut Creek and surrounding communities now have a fast, comfortable and convenient place to go for their emergency care needs – 24/7, 365 days a year.
The new Emergency Center is an extension of West Boca Medical Center’s Emergency Department, offering the same first-rate care in an easy-access location for individuals and families residing in Coconut Creek, Coral Springs, Parkland, Margate and Deerfield Beach.
Designed to offer minimal wait times, the center is fully equipped and staffed to treat emergent conditions, such as lacerations, orthopedic and sports injuries, dehydration, abdominal pain, respiratory problems, head injuries, strokes and heart attacks. Patients will have access to more than 200 specialty physicians on West Boca’s medical staff.
