West Boca Medical Center is proud to announce Robert Jimenez, M.D., has joined the medical staff as the hospital’s new vascular surgeon.Most recently, Dr. Jimenez served as a vascular surgery fellow at Maimonides Medical Center in New York, and collaborated with physicians to release multiple publications in the Annals of vascular surgery. Dr. Jimenez earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, as well as completing his pre-medical curriculum at the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a Doctorate in Medicine from Ohio State University. In addition, he became a research associate at the University of Pennsylvania Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine; his research involved the variola virus evasion within innate immune systems. Dr. Jimenez began his residency training in general surgery in South Florida.
