The West Palm Beach VA Healthcare System (WPBVAHCS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sonya Arnold, MSN, MBA, BSN, as the new Associate Director for Patient Care Services.
Arnold transitioned from the Bay Pines VA Health Care System where she served as both Chief Nurse of Geriatrics and Extended Care, and later as the Chief Nurse for Operations where she played key roles in Incident Command during significant storm evacuations.
Her nursing career began in 1996 as a staff nurse at the Johnson City VA Medical Center in TN. She has served and managed in various areas, to include acute dialysis, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, and acute care.
