The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center is proud to announce the appointment of its new Associate Medical Center Director, Cristy McKillop. She began her career with the Department of Veterans Affairs as an Administrative Fellow through the Graduate Healthcare Administration Training Program. Since then, McKillop has earned positions of increasing complexity in VA Heart of Texas Healthcare Network, the VA North Texas Healthcare System, and VA Sunshine Healthcare Network. In 2008, McKillop earned the position of Capital Asset Manager for VA Sunshine Healthcare Network, which oversees the construction, safety, real estate, energy, and Green Environmental Management programs for the medical centers in Florida, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. She is also a graduate of the VA Executive Career Field Development Program and recently earned the distinction of board certification as a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
