February 1, 2025 – HCA Florida Northwest Hospital, a 289-bed facility, and part of HCA Florida Healthcare, the largest healthcare system in the state, is pleased to announce the addition of Chief Medical Officer, Victor A. Jaffe, D.O.
“Dr. Jaffe brings a wealth of experience from over 25 years in healthcare leadership roles,” said HCA Florida Northwest Hospital CEO Kenneth Jones. “We are delighted he will be bringing his expertise to our hospital and support us in our commitment with physician engagement, care experience and patient safety.”
Prior to joining HCA, Dr. Jaffe served as the Physician Advisor at Delray Medical Center, where he led Utilization Management. Dr. Jaffe has an extensive background in graduate medical education, serving as Chief Academic Officer at Palmetto General, ensuring compliance with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) standards and other regulatory requirements. He also has experience on the payer side of healthcare, having served as a Regional Medical Director for United Healthcare’s inpatient care division in the Southeast.

Dr. Jaffe earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2003, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006, where he also completed his Family Medicine Residency and served as Chief Resident at Palmetto General Hospital.
