March 16, 2020 – Therapies 4 Kids (T4K) is proud to announce Anna Binder, MD as Medical Director for their therapy centers. A child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist, Dr. Binder received her General and Adult Psychiatry training at University of Maryland/ Sheppard Pratt Program and then attended the prestigious Johns Hopkins Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training program.
 
In her new role, Dr. Binder will oversee the rehabilitation programs that Therapies 4 Kids provides that include Speech, Occupational, Physical, ABA and their Psych 4U mental health programs. She will also represent Therapies 4 Kids in the development of medical policies and treat patients.
 
“Dr. Binder will be a key addition and leader for the Therapies 4 Kids team,” stated Eileen De Oliveira, Founder and President.  “She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will greatly benefit Therapies 4 Kids as we continue to grow our programs.”
 
Dr. Binder has been practicing since 2007. She has extensive experience in Emergency Psychiatry, providing crisis services and treating a broad range of psychiatric and behavior disorders, including depression, Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), substance abuse, Autism, Asperger’s disorder and more. She offers a thoughtful, comprehensive assessment, to discuss and weigh out the role that medications could play to support the patient’s process of change. Her goal is to provide expert psychiatric care that will allow the patient to perform at their best.
