Aventura Hospital and Medical Center is proud to announce the election of Martin Grossman, M.D.. as the new Chief of Staff of the Medical Executive Committee. Dr. Grossman is replacing Charles Shenker, M.D., who will assume the new role of Immediate Past Chief of Staff for the next two-year term.Chief of Staff Dr. Martin Grossman will chair the Medical Executive Committee at Aventura Hospital for a two year term beginning in January, 2013 and ending in December, 2014. With more than 18 years on staff as a surgeon at Aventura Hospital, and more than 30 years as a board certified general surgeon Dr. Grossman lives by his motto for medicine: ‘to provide the best quality care for patients in a compassionate and caring manner. The patient comes first. Everyone we see becomes part of our family.’
Dr. Grossman is a past Chief of Surgery at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center and has held numerous committee appointments. A graduate of Chicago Medical School in Chicago, IL, he completed his internship, residency and fellowship training at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, NY.
