Baptist Children’s Hospital announced that it received a $1 million grant from Sherry Kranys to establish the Sherry Kranys Children’s Innovation Fund.
The grant will support research, programs and technology that will improve patient outcomes and transform the experiences of children treated at the hospital. It is one of the largest gifts in Baptist Children’s Hospital history. Ms. Kranys established the fund in appreciation for the high-quality care the hospital provides. Her granddaughter, Kendall, was a patient at Baptist Children’s Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) more than a decade ago. She witnessed firsthand the NICU team’s dedication and commitment to medical excellence.
