Baptist Health Home Care was recently named to the 2009 HomeCare Elite list, a compilation of the most successful Medicare-certified home health agencies in the United States. Baptist Health Home Care scored in the top 25 percent of nearly 9,000 home care agencies nationwide.
“Many of our scores in quality measures are consistently above comparable rankings, including rates of readmission to the hospital which is less than half the national average and even lower when compared to state averages,” said Maria Zamora, director of Baptist Health Home Care. “By combining high-quality standards with compassionate care, we prevent any further complications that might cause our patients to go back into the hospital and help keep them in the comfort of their homes.”
