The Hon. Judge Robert L. Dubé has been named as the new chairman of the Board of Trustees of Baptist Health South Florida. Judge Dubé is a U.S. Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida.
Judge Dubé has been a member of the Baptist Health Board for 15 years. In addition, he served as chairman of the South Miami Hospital Board for 18 years. He first joined the South Miami Hospital Board in 1974.
Judge Dubé was also a director of Baptist Health Enterprises and Baptist Outpatient Services boards, and served on a wide range of committees. A graduate of the University of Miami Law School, he started his legal career with the firm of Dixon, DeJarnette, Bradford, Williams, McKay and Kimbrell. He later served as corporate counsel for Avis Rent-A-Car System before starting his own firm, Dubé and Wright.
