Graduate students Corey Gabric (class of 2013), Jennifer Anderson, Kimberly Hands, Mariya Kogan and Tanika Pardo (class of 2012) helped raise money and serve meals for the homeless in the Breaking Bread, Breaking Barriers community outreach program.
 
Breaking Bread, Breaking Barriers provide financial support for the food services program at the Broward Partnership for the Homeless Inc. The organization is committed to reducing homelessness by promoting independence and self-worth through advocacy, housing and comprehensive services.
 
The anesthesiology students raised $500 to sponsor lunch for 200 men, women, and children at the Broward Partnership for the Homeless. The group also volunteered to prepare and serve lunch.
