Fort Lauderdale Partner Lester J. Perling of the statewide law firm Broad and Cassel has assumed the role of Chair of the Health Law Section of The Florida Bar for the 2010-2011 year. In this role, Perling will oversee the section, which includes more than 1,000 statewide members. The section provides a forum for communication and education leading to the improvement and development of the field of health law.
A board-certified health law attorney, Perling is past chair of The Florida Bar’s Health Law Certification Committee and a former practice group vice chair in the American Health Lawyers Association.
