James Franken has been appointed Director of Education at Columbia Hospital. Prior to joining Columbia he was Director of Education at Orange Park Medical Center in Orange Park, FL. He also served in the same capacity at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, TX, both HCA facilities.
Franken also served 33 years in the U.S. Navy and following his retirement, he spent seven years as a college dean and associate professor for Troy University in Troy, AL.
