Mark F. Raymond, managing partner of the Miami office of the statewide law firm Broad and Cassel, is pleased to announce that Miami Partner Mike Segal, chairman of the statewide Health Law Practice Group, has been named among the region’s Top 100 Power Leaders in Health Care in the South Florida Business Journal.Mike Segal joined Broad and Cassel in 1973. In addition to serving as chair of the Health Law Practice Group, he also is an experienced tax, estate planning, and transactional attorney. For more than 20 years, he has spent considerable time in the representation of Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), clinically integrated practice groups, as well as large single specialty and multi-specialty physician groups. He also has significant experience in structuring all varieties of joint venture transactions and acts as general and special counsel to both hospitals and large medical groups. He is a certified American Health Lawyer Association Dispute Resolver, a designation that qualifies him to serve as both a mediator and arbitrator in forums for alternative dispute resolution.
