Richard H. Callari, M.D., has been re-elected chief of staff by the physicians of Broward General Medical Center. Dr. Callari, board certified in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery, is the former chief of surgery and has been an active physician at Broward General Medical Center since 1990.

Dr. Callari has been practicing medicine in Broward County for more than 14 years. Former chairman of the credentials committee at Broward General, Dr. Callari has also been active with the Broward General’s medical council and quality assurance committee. He is a member of the Broward County Medical Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology and the Fort Lauderdale Surgical Society.

Dr. Callari obtained his undergraduate degree in biology at Boston University, earned his medical degree and did his otolaryngology residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. He completed his general surgery internship at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, FL.
