Indian River Medical Center (IRMC) welcomes Linda Walton, MSN, RN, CENP, as the new Chief Nursing Officer.
Walton brings more than 30 years of nursing experience to IRMC, including three years in her most recent post as Chief Nursing Officer for South Lake Hospital. She has also served in management roles for Orlando Health’s physician group, UW Health, the academic medical center for the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, and for Columbus Community Hospital. Walton also served as a Commissioner Officer in the United States Army Nurse Corps where her last assignment had her stationed in Mosul, Iraq. Walton earned her MSN at University of Pittsburg in PA.
