Broward Health has appointed Mark Sprada Interim Chief Executive Officer of Broward Health Medical Center and Chris Evert Children’s Hospital. Sprada also holds the position of Vice President and Corporate Chief Nursing Officer for Broward Health.
Prior to his current role, he served as chief operating and nursing officer for Broward Health Imperial Point and as the hospital’s interim CEO during a leadership transition. He began his career with Broward Health as a nurse manager of Medical Intensive Care and Trauma Step-down. He has since served in system-wide director roles and as the executive director of nursing for Broward Health Medical Center. Additionally, Sprada has served in various clinical roles in critical care and interventional cardiology.
