Jessie Trice Community Health Center, Inc. (JTCHC), a Federally Qualified Health Center, was awarded a prevention grant from Health Foundation of South Florida to provide outreach screening/education for hypertension and other cardiovascular related diseases to the residents of northwest Miami-Dade.
According to Jessie Trice Community Health Center President & CEO Annie Neasman, “Hypertension is a ‘silent killer’ and Jessie Trice is committed to arming the residents of Miami-Dade with the information to prevent heart disease, stroke and other chronic diseases." She added, “Our outreach team is on a mission to empower individuals to take charge of their health and adopt a medical home.”
