Broward Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Sprada, MBA, BSN, RN, to the position of vice president/corporate chief nursing officer (CNO).Sprada is currently serving as the CNO for Broward Health Medical Center and Chris Evert Children’s Hospital. Prior to his current role, he served as chief operating and nursing officer for Broward Health Imperial Point and as the hospital’s interim CEO during a leadership transition. He began his career with Broward Health as a nurse manager of Medical Intensive Care and Trauma Step-down. He has since served in system-wide director roles and as the executive director of nursing for Broward Health Medical Center. Additionally, Sprada has served in various clinical roles in critical care and interventional cardiology.
