Members from Broward Health Broward General Medical Center’s hypothermia committee recently attended the two-day international conference ‘Therapeutic Hypothermia and Temperature Management’ in Miami sponsored by the University of Miami. The purpose of the conference was to gather leading scientists and clinicians in the field of therapeutic hypothermia and temperature management. Lectures and round table discussions allowed attendees to discuss therapeutic hypothermia, temperature management and its application for management of post cardiac arrest patients and as a treatment paradigm for various clinical situations.Attendees included (r-l): Paul Brattan, R.N., Clinical Specialist, CVICU/CCU; Roseitta Da Silva, R.N., Asst.
