November 17 2020 – Dave Lacknauth, Pharm.D., executive director of pharmacy services at Broward Health, has been elected to the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Committee on Nominations, serving as an alternate member. He has been a member of ASHP since 2002.  
 
“I truly appreciate all of the opportunities that the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists continues to present,” Lacknauth said. “I am honored to help them meet their goals and further their national efforts.” 
 
Lacknauth is responsible for strategic direction, financial and clinical outcomes, and marketing and program refinement with oversight and integration for Broward Health’s five acute care hospitals and 10 outpatient clinics.  
 
Active in professional organizations both nationally and regionally, Lacknauth was appointed to the leadership committee of ASHP and is a former president of the Southeast Society of Health System Pharmacists. Lacknauth was recently elected to the Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FSHP) board of directors, where he previously served as professional affairs committee chair, and is an active elected delegate representing FSHP at ASHP.  
 
Lacknauth received his Doctorate in Pharmacy from Nova Southeastern University, where he was recognized as a distinguished alumnus for career achievement. He earned a Master of Science in Pharmacy and patient and risk management certification from University of Florida and an MBA from Baker College in Michigan.
