The Cardiology Fellowship Program at Broward Health Medical Center has received Initial Accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). The ACGME is an organization that sets standards for US graduate medical education (residency and fellowship) programs and the institutions that sponsor them and renders accreditation decisions based upon compliance with these standards.
Broward Health Medical Center is one of only two cardiovascular programs in the country to receive Initial Accreditation through the Single Accreditation System and the only one in Florida.
