Broward Health Names New Director of Internal Audit

Broward Health has named Maria Panyi Director of Internal Audit.

Panyi is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and is certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC). She has 13 years of experience in healthcare auditing and since 2005 served as director of internal audit with Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. Prior to that position, Panyi was the director of internal audit for Miami Children’s Hospital. She also worked at Arthur Andersen LLP. Panyi started her career as an operational and systems risk management associate with PriceWaterhouseCoopers L.L.P. before joining BlueCross Blue Shield of Georgia.
