Martine Mathieu, RN Oncology Unit
Martine Mathieu began her career at Broward Health in 1994 and became an Oncology nurse in 2001 at Broward Health North. She was promoted to Charge Nurse then to Assistant Nurse Manger. She enjoys preparing the staff for new challenges by doing individualized competencies and education. She enjoys rounding with the physicians making sure all the patients’ needs are addressed. Martine is committed to ensure that patients and families are provided exceptional care; this is evident in her daily work.
During Breast Cancer Awareness Month Martine ensures that the unit is decorated and the staff is available to provide educational sessions to patients, families and staff. Martine enjoys spending time with her family as well as fundraising for numerous charities for Haiti. She truly loves what she does.
