Narayn Pillai, MD, FACC, is a distinguished general and interventional cardiologist in West Palm Beach, Florida, known for his expertise in diagnosing and managing heart and vascular diseases. He is board-certified in cardiology, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and echocardiography.
Dr. Pillai has earned a reputation for compassionate patient care and commitment to advancing cardiovascular health. He specializes in the radial approach for cardiac catheterization, performing the majority of his procedures through the arm allowing faster recovery time and reducing complication rates. He was instrumental in bringing shockwave intravascular lithotripsy to Good Samaritan Medical Center which uses sound waves to break up calcium deposits in heavily calcified coronary arteries by creating microfractures before stenting. He has extensive expertise in peripheral endovascular interventions, successfully treating conditions that affect arteries and veins.
Dr. Pillai earned his medical degree from JIPMER in Pondicherry, India.
