Dr. Eric Kupferstein is a board-certified interventional cardiologist on staff at Delray Medical Center, West Boca Medical Center and Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He joined Advanced Heart & Vascular Institute in Boca Raton, Florida, in November 2022, bringing advanced expertise in interventional and endovascular cardiology to the South Florida community.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Dr. Kupferstein earned his bachelor’s degree from Yeshiva University in New York City before completing medical school at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM) in 2015. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at SUNY Downstate, finishing in 2021. To further specialize, Dr. Kupferstein completed an additional 15-month interventional and endovascular cardiology fellowship at Cooper Hospital in Camden, New Jersey, in 2022.
Dr. Kupferstein is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.
