Fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist Christine V. Pestana, M.D., has joined the Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.
Prior to joining Lynn Cancer Institute, Dr. Pestana served as assistant professor of surgery at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist/Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
Dr. Pestana earned her medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine. She served as chief surgical resident at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and completed a mastery of general surgery fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She also completed a breast surgical oncology fellowship at Carolina Medical Center. She is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
