The city of Fort Lauderdale and the Imperial Point (Homeowners) Association recently honored Dorothy “Dottie” Mancini for her community support while serving as chief executive officer of Imperial Point Medical Center (IPMC). City officials issued a proclamation declaring June 25 “Dottie Mancini Day,” and Imperial Point Park was renamed Dottie Mancini Park. Mancini retired as CEO, a position she had held since 1996, in June.
