Innovative Affiliation Expands Skilled Nursing Services for Southeast Florida Residents 
 
June  25, 2019 – The New Jersey-based nonprofit organization, Visiting Nurse Association Health Group and world renowned Cleveland Clinic Florida announced this week a new joint venture that provides expanded home health care services for residents in Broward County, Florida. The newly formed affiliation will be called Cleveland Clinic Florida Visiting Nurses.  
 
The innovative program will provide skilled nursing services and home health assistance for residents requiring home care services in Florida’s second most populated county. In addition to skilled home health nursing services, rehabilitation therapy (physical, occupational, speech), certified home health aide care, social work services, joint replacement follow-up care, wound care, ostomy care and medication management services will also be provided.

Visiting Nurse Association Health Group headquartered in Holmdel, New Jersey has been serving New Jersey residents since 1912. In 2017, the VNA Health made history by announcing the first-of-its-kind cross-state merger in 2017 between VNA Health Group and VNA of Ohio, headquartered in the Cleveland area. 
 
The joint venture arrangement with Cleveland Clinic Florida is VNA’s first expansion into Southeast Florida. VNA Health Group is the second largest nonprofit VNA in the country and largest in the state of New Jersey. Cleveland Clinic Florida has been operating in Weston, Florida since 1987 and currently serves residents in 41 locations, including hospitals and outpatient centers across the state.
 
Currently, the joint venture will serve residents in Broward County, however, both entities are working on plans to expand into Miami Dade and Palm Beach counties in the coming weeks and months.
