Columbia Hospital recently kicked off celebrating its parent company, HCA, 40th year as healthcare provider. The theme of HCA’s anniversary, “40 Years of Caring,” reflects HCA’s strong tradition of caring and the significant contributions over the past four decades.

Hospital Corporation of America, Inc. was founded in August, 1968, by Dr. Thomas Frist, Sr., his son, Dr. Thomas Frist, Jr., and Jack C. Massey, an entrepreneur and philanthropist. Columbia Hospital is one of about 170 hospitals and 115 outpatient centers in the HCA system.

A group of Columbia Hospital employees took time out to pose in front of Columbia Hospital’s banner celebrating its parent company, HCA, 40 years of caring.
