Rhonda Calhoun, chair of the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners, has been elected as a regional trustee alternate delegate to the American Hospital Association’s Regional Policy Board. She has been a Broward Health commissioner since 2006. Calhoun is the executive director of Broward League of Cities. From 1994 to 2006 she served as a commissioner and as vice mayor for the City of Coral Springs. A former paralegal, she was previously vice chair of the board for the Coral Springs City Centre, vice chair of the Planning and Zoning Board and a member of the Economic and Development Task Force. She has held several leadership positions with the Florida and National League of Cities.
