January 23, 2019 – Eric Jenkins, Chief Operating Officer of Conviva Care Solutions, has announced the appointment of Rosalinda Roman to the position of Vice President and General Manager for Broward County. Previously, Roman had served as a Regional Manager within Broward County. Her new responsibilities will include overseeing the operations and strategy within the second-largest market in Florida and coordinating efforts with Conviva Managing Partner, Isabel Souffront M.D.
“Rosalinda’s knowledge of the market and her proven track record of successfully leading centers of excellence provides us with the foundation for future grown and success in Broward County,” said Jenkins. “She has more than two decades of experience in healthcare management, and her tenacity, ability to create quality working relationships and a strong work ethic have made her a true leader.”
Prior to joining Conviva, Roman, who holds a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, had served as administrator of a psychiatry department in New York City (outpatient and inpatient), and as Director of Grants and Contracts, overseeing millions of dollars of research grants and clinical trials. In the early 1990s, she served as a center administrator and regional director for CAC, and most recently, with Continucare since 2010.
Extremely passionate about patient care, the native New Yorker has two married sons and is the proud grandmother of five, and great grandmother of two children. She is very active and loves dancing, the Florida beaches, and spending time with family and friends.
