Cristovao F. Vieira, M.D., and Daniel Grobman, D.O., have joined the staff of approximately 120 medical specialists at Cleveland Clinic in Florida. Chairman of the Department of Nephrology, Dr. Vieira specializes in interventional nephrology, dialysis and cardiovascular medicine in chronic kidney disease. As part of the Spine and Neuromuscular Center, Dr. Grobman specializes in the medical treatment of spine and orthopaedic injuries, osteopathic manipulation, sports medicine, and pain management.
Dr. Vieira comes to Cleveland Clinic after four years with University of Miami affiliated hospitals. At the University of Miami, Dr. Vieira served as an assistant professor of medicine in the Nephrology Division, medical director of Outpatient Dialysis Services, and an attending physician in the Department of Nephrology at UM Hospital and Clinics, Cardiovascular Center. Previously on staff with Innovative Health and Wellness in Pompano Beach, FL, Dr. Grobman also served as a team physician for Stranahan High School and Westminster Academy. He is currently a team physician for Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.
