Dr. David Buchalter is a board certified fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon with over 30 years of clinical experience. He is on staff at Delray Medical Center, where he has previously served as Chief of the Department of Surgery and Chairman of the Board of Directors. He did his training at The Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York and completed advanced fellowship training in Joint Replacement surgery. Dr. Buchalter uses cutting-edge methods to perform the innovative anterior pathway total hip replacement surgery. This three-inch incision is made in the area of the groin, and is minimally invasive, allowing patients to walk immediately after the procedure.
